I'm currently camped at Alexandra Bridge SE of Margaret River & the interesting thing is the I can get wireless internet connection (Telstra) with an external antenna however no Next G phone connection even with a boster antenna.

Normally the other way around if you listen to others. I've been on the road from Brisbane for over 3 months now & have been surprised at the availibility of both phone & internet connections.

During the trip I have not come across any EO member however I have another 7 weeks to find one.

Nice part of the State John.

Pity about those gennies.

Which way are you heading from there?

I'm glad I ain't too scared to be lazy

Hi John - HORRIFIED that the gennies were taken from by your vans. Hope you get them back intact, or the low lives get caught and made to repay you both.

Is your Internet GSM? I travelled with NextG Internet, and only got reception in a few places (NW & central NT). Most towns that had NextG had GSM as well anyway.

We have just returned home ( 6 weeks ago ) from spending 4 months in West Aus, had EO sticker across windscreen and on back of cruiser and van, didn't see any EO members and they obviously didn't see us.

We spent over four months travelling this year, and in that time, only met two ExplorOz members.

We have just returned to Perth after a three month tour around "the block" and during our travels saw several EO stickers ,usually on vehicles on the move however in Mildura / Gol Gol set up camp in a CP next to a member and again up the coast of FNQld (place escapes me) - so there are a few of us out there. have a safe seven weeks . John,
You drive by our (work) gate in Busselton if you would like to call in for a cuppa and a chat on your way to Perth. Self employed so stopping for a chat wont be a problem.
My phone No. is 0427554431 if you want to ring so I will make sure I'm in the office.
Cheers and happy travels,
Craig
